Photos and videos you upload are stored with your account and served with your site.

Adding a photo or video

Select an Image or Video block in the builder and choose Upload, or drag the file from your computer straight onto the block. To swap it later, choose Upload again.

Files you can upload

• Photos: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP and AVIF.
• Video: MP4, WebM and MOV.

SVG files can't be uploaded as photos.

How big a file can be

• A photo: up to 50 MB. Large photos are made smaller for the web, to at most 2400 pixels, and the builder tells you when it does.
• A video: up to 500 MB.
• A video playing behind a section: up to 100 MB, because it loads before visitors see anything else.

Finding a stock photo

On an Image block, choose Find a photo to search a free photo library. The photo you pick is copied into your own storage, so it stays on your site.

How storage is counted

Each plan comes with storage, shared by every site on the plan:

• Free: 1 GB
• Solo: 5 GB
• Creator: 25 GB
• Standard: 100 GB
• Professional: 400 GB
• Premium: 1 TB

Usage in your dashboard shows how much you've used. An upload that would go over is refused, and the files you already have are not touched. Visitors loading your site never count against your storage.

Removing a photo or video

Remove takes the file off the block. The file itself stays in your storage and still counts toward it. If you need that space back, write to us through Get help.
