You build it
Drag your photos in, write your words, pick how it looks. No code, no theme marketplace, no plugin that breaks the site at midnight. It is built to be finished in an afternoon and edited in five minutes.
An assistant sits beside you
When you get stuck, there is an assistant inside the builder that answers you and gets you moving again. It is there the whole way, at any hour, so being stuck never means waiting until Monday.

The site is yours. Your pages, your photos, your words, on your own domain. After your first year you can export the whole thing, any time from then on and for as long as you like, including after you cancel, and it opens cleanly somewhere else.
We have sat on the wrong side of a tool that would not let go, and we are building this one so you never have to. Nothing here is designed to be painful to leave, because a product that has to trap you was not good enough to keep you.
Stuck on a platform you cannot leave
Most builders will not let you take your design with you. Wix will not. Framer will not. Squarespace hands you your words and keeps the rest. You built the site, you have paid for it every month since, and it still is not yours to move.
So we move you.
We rebuild your site properly. Your words, your photos, your brand, your pages. Your search rankings come with you, because we map every redirect before anything switches over, and we watch it for a month afterward.
What we tell you before you pay. Some of what you see on your site belongs to your platform, not to you. Their template. Their stock photos. Their fonts. We do not move things you do not have the right to move. We rebuild those parts with our own and we hand you the list first, in writing, before any money changes hands.
Your old site stays up the whole time. You cancel nothing until the new one is live and you have told us you are happy with it.
We quote it. We do not guess it. Every site is a different amount of work, so we look at your pages, your photos and your blog, and then we give you one price and one date. If we finish early you will hear it from us in advance. From CA$1,800.
If it turns out to be an easy job, we will tell you. Sometimes we look at a site and it is a few hours of work, not a few weeks. When that happens we say so, and we do not charge you for it. We would rather you heard that from us than wonder afterwards whether you paid a lot for something simple.

Your pages come out with the structure a screen reader needs, keyboard navigation that works, and colour contrast checked while you pick it. Not a widget bolted on at the end. It is how the pages are made.
When you add something that breaks it, a picture with no description, a colour nobody can read, we tell you at the moment you do it. What you add is yours. We would rather warn you than let you hear it from someone who could not use your site.
What we will not tell you is that your site meets the accessibility law of every country you sell into. No one can promise that, the rules differ by country, and they change with whatever you publish next. We build the foundation right, we show you what we checked, and the rest we say plainly instead of burying it.
The writing is the part people get stuck on
Not the buttons. The blank box where the words go. Most sites that never launch are finished everywhere except there.
So write as much as you can, and do not stop to fix it. Rough, too long, in the wrong order, in your second language. Helix tidies it up afterwards and shows you every change before a single one is kept.
We fix the grammar. We leave your voice alone, because the way you say a thing is the reason someone believes it.
The beta is close
The builder is being made now, and beta testing is weeks away rather than years. Leave your email and you will hear the moment there is something real to try. Announcements as it gets closer, nothing else.
The first 25 get a founding price
When it opens, the first 25 people on this list are offered half our list price, and they keep it for as long as they stay. Not for a year. For as long as they stay. Your half stays with you when you change plans, and it does not run out. Cancel, and it is gone for good.
An invitation holds for 14 days. If it is not taken it passes to the next person on the list, and it keeps passing until all 25 are filled.

What we ask back is a few minutes of honest feedback once a month while we build. More often if you want. Once Helix is running you can hand it a frustration the moment you feel one, and it is glad to take them. We are listening.
